This Privacy Policy outlines our principles and practices in a transparent manner. By downloading or using the App, you agree to the terms set forth below. PromParrot is independently developed and maintained by an individual developer, and we take your privacy seriously.
When using this application, you do not need to register an account, nor do you need to provide any name, email, phone number, or location information. No user data will be uploaded to the cloud (unless you choose to save text content using iCloud, which is managed by the Apple iOS system). We only upload necessary non-user data such as: click counts, usage duration, crash information, etc., as a basis for subsequent feature optimization and improvement.
The App utilizes Apple’s built-in speech recognition framework to compare your spoken words with the target script and control text scrolling accordingly.
This entire process is performed locally on your device.
No audio or text content is uploaded, analyzed remotely, stored, or recorded.
Any scripts or text content you create or import within the App are stored locally on your device or optionally synced via Apple iCloud.
The developer does not and cannot access your files.
To enhance visual experience, the App uses an open-source animation library called ConfettiSwiftUI
This library is used solely for local visual effects and does not collect data, access the internet, or perform analytics of any kind.
The App offers the following in-app purchases: monthly subscription, annual subscription, and lifetime unlock.
All payments are securely processed by the Apple App Store.
The developer does not have access to your payment details or Apple ID account information, and does not store or track your purchase activity.
If you encounter any issues with subscriptions or purchases, please manage them via your App Store account settings or contact Apple Support.
